    Frequently Asked Questions

Here we answer the most frequently asked questions surrounding orders, delivery and more!

Some of our products come in 60-packs, so it’s possible you received one of those instead of two 30-packs. Could you please check your order to confirm? If it looks like something is still missing, just drop us a message at info@cbd-guru.co.uk and we’ll be happy to sort it out for you.

We offer oils in six strengths: 5%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%. Each bottle is 30ml, but the label shows the amount per 10ml. For example, if you order our 20% (6000mg) oil, the label will read 20% (2000mg). Don’t worry — that’s correct! The full bottle contains three times the labelled amount. Rest assured, you’ve received the correct strength, and this is explained on all our product pages.

If you place an order before 3pm Monday to Thursday, it should arrive the next working day before 6pm. Orders placed after 3pm on Thursday and dispatched on Friday may arrive on Saturday or Monday, depending on your location and whether FedEx delivers to your area on Saturdays.

We’re closed on weekends, and FedEx does not collect during this time, so orders placed after 3pm on Friday will be dispatched the next working day, usually Monday (unless it’s a bank holiday).

Please note that delivery times are estimates, and while we aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible, occasional delays can happen. Thank you for your understanding!

At the moment, we’re unable to offer PayPal, Klarna, or Clearpay as payment options for CBD products. These providers classify CBD as a ‘high-risk’ or ‘drug-related’ product, and using their platforms for CBD sales can result in accounts being restricted. We understand this can be inconvenient, and we truly appreciate your understanding. As soon as the providers update their policies, we hope to be able to offer these payment options to our customers.

While our payment provider does accept American Express (Amex), unfortunately Amex doesn’t currently allow payments for CBD products. This means we’re unable to accept Amex at the moment. The good news is that Amex has indicated this may change in 2026, and we’ll be happy to offer it as a payment option as soon as it becomes available. We really appreciate your understanding!

While we don’t have a retail shop, you’re very welcome to visit our office at 7a Colin Road, Scunthorpe, DN16 1TT to purchase products in person. As we’re mainly an online business, we don’t have a card machine on site, so we kindly ask that payments are made in cash. If that’s not convenient, we’re happy to set up a secure payment link for card payments—just let us know!

Before getting in touch, please take a moment to check that your order was placed directly with our Amazon store, “Calm Recovery.”

If your item was sold by Amazon (shown as “Sold by Amazon” on the product page), you’ll need to contact Amazon Customer Service for help with refunds, returns, or replacements, as they handle those orders themselves.

We just want to make sure you get the right support as quickly as possible — Amazon is a separate company and follows its own policies, which may differ from ours.

If your concern is about a manufacturing issue or product quality, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly. We’ll be happy to look into it and make things right.

The solid white you’re seeing is called crystallisation — and don’t worry, it’s completely natural! This happens when CBD molecules separate from the carrier oil and start to clump together, usually because of cold temperatures. That’s why we always recommend keeping your CBD oil stored at room temperature.

When this happens, the oil can look a little cloudy or show white flakes or small lumps. It’s nothing harmful — just the CBD returning to its natural form. All of our products are made fresh in a temperature-controlled facility, but unfortunately, we can’t control how cold it gets in delivery vans or depots during the winter months, when this is most likely to occur.

The good news is that the CBD isn’t damaged at all, and the crystals can easily be melted back into the oil. You can do this by:

    • Running the bottle under warm water,

    • Placing it in a Ziplock bag and submerging it in hot water, or

    • Gently warming it on the hob for a short time.

This will bring the oil back to a smooth, clear liquid. If that doesn’t work (though it usually does), we’re happy to replace the product, but please note that we can’t guarantee it won’t crystallise again during shipping.

Crystallisation is actually a sign of high-quality, pure CBD — it’s more likely to happen with purer formulas because they contain fewer other compounds to keep the oil in a liquid state.
